Hello fellow detectorists,detect mainly central Mass. and Cape Cod,mainly.But the detector is never to far away and always looking for that opportunity.Lots of good finds in 2009.Oldest,two circa 1740 King George 2nd half pennies.

Hey Postman, I looked at your blog and I see you met Eleanor Hube? She and her husband (I think his name was Jack??) had a dealership here in western MA. Met her a long time ago. She has been detecting for a long, long time now. Back in the days when parks were loaded with silver :drool: Easy everyone lol But it's true, they used to be that way...honest ;) Glad you had a chance to meet her, she is very knowledgable.

Yep, Eleanor is one grand detecting lady!! :yes: She used to belong to our local metal detecting club. A founding member if I'm not mistaken?

Thanks much.Was thinking today of opening up some discussion on GHOST TOWNS.I,ve visited two.Detected one.Got to make it back there.Good hike along an old country road,deep into the woods.Anyone out there visit any GHOST TOWNS?
