I started MDing March 21 with my Mxt Pro and these are some of my better finds through the end of June. I did not do much detecting this month and most of the finds were found to the end of May.

Three of the large coppers can be identified although toasted. One is a 1722 or 1723 Woods Half Penny, a 1786 Connecticut Copper, and a 1:eyebrow:thinkingabout: Liberty Large Cent, the last two are wasted. Although in very poor condition I am thrilled to know I am hunting in the right locations to find these. It's only a matter of time before I find one of these in better condition.

Also, the 1864 Our Army, Civil War token looks a lot better then in the pic. The 1899 Barber dime is by far the best condition coin found to date.

Other finds include.....271 clad pennies, 86 wheat pennies, 97 dimes, 67 quarters, and 23 illusive nickels.

These are the five large coppers that didn't come out in my post. Not much to look at but I wanted to post them anyway.

a very nice collection Frank , your doing extremely well with that MXT Pro . your definately hitting good spots , don't change a thing as your bound to get some sweet looking coppers . the ratio of good ones to bad can change at any time , one year i think i was 1 nice or decent one to every 7 to 9 crappy one i found . last year out of 20 coppers total i had more good ones than bad . congrats on your finds , the fall is a great time to detect out in them woods .

Nice collection of coins and a great picture of the rings :clapping: Sometime you just have to take the toasted coppers untill you get something better. But the thrill is the same watching that green disk come out of the hole lol Love seeing a large coin still in the dirt, knowing that it has been there for hundreds of years :shocked04: That Barber screams I'm in great condition - look at me lol Love seeing that full liberty on them. :happydance01: You had a great month of detecting |)

Thanks for the encouraging words everyone.... :beerbuddy:

To say I'm hooked would be an understatement. LOL I only wish I started MDing when I was 25 instead of 65. 8/
