I finally got permission to hunt a summer church camp yesterday,thought I would go out this morning and take some pic. of the place and do some hunting,and wouldn't you know it first time in weeks we had a rain storm little over an inch and much needed,quit raining about 10 o-clock so I went out.got there and took some pic's and hunted almost 45 minutes and it started raining again, I gave up and came home but I did find 5-Q ,5 -D,2-N and 3 pennies all new +3 pulltabs befor I got rained out,,,there is about 40 akers,,,,,,,HH,,,, and thanks for looking.

Glad to hear you are out and about. A lot of acerage there. Take your time and get it all.

it was EST.in 1950 and was used up untill 5 years ago.it is up for sale but no takers yet.the overseer is the one that gave me pernission to hunt it and he keeps it well mowed and looking nice.

Thanks for posting the photos, Terry. If the camp has been there since 1950 there should be some keepers there. Lots of area to hunt. The camp has probably been added on to a lot over the years. I would probably head to the area where the biggest old looking trees are.

Congrats on your research, it has paid off. Gotta be lots to find there yet! thumbsup01

Wow :shocked04: look at that place. :smitten: Does it get any better than permission to hunt and someone cuts the grass for you too lol Starting in 1950, there has got to be silver there. For 15 years kids were losing silver dimes and quarters there. Some of those should be Mercuries and SLQ's too :clapping: Have fun and enjoy the hunting there Terry. :yes:

It looks like a hunter's paradise to me. Great looking place to take it slow and easy (to enjoy the beauty of it). I knew you couldn't keep a good person down. Very happy to see you are out and about. Keep us informed how future hunts are going. Thanks for sharing.
