Hot Hunting

Well, the weather has not cooled off a bit here, >:# but got out in it anyway. Searched a new area of the local park here, and did fairly well. I had to do some serious cleaning on the pennies. As soon as they came out of the ground they started turning green, and I hate the way that it feels when they get that way. Between the cleaning and a little oil made it good. Enjoy! The ring looks to be a cheap one, no silver markings, although it looked the same coming out of the ground (just dirty).

I found almost all of the pennys in an old school playground. Everything else was at the park. It is like I have said before. I have been detecting here since may, but even before then, I have never seen anyone detecting in this area. I know some areas must have been detected before, because I will find new clad and nothing old. Other areas are just loaded, but mostly pennys or other small denomination coins. Phil
