OLD HOME HUNT*VINTAGE BOY SCOUT WATCH FOB?

went back up to a house i had permission to hunt.a few days ago i pulled a large cent and a merc. there are so many brass targets and 2 acres of yard to hunt.this spot is gonna keep me busy for some time to come.
i must be on a law enforcement streak :confused: never pull police items..last week i dig a police buckle and today it's a New Haven PD button :huh: looks early 1900's with full gilt.a toy pistol,a victorian sash buckle and i think todays find of the day is a Boy Scout? fob.at least that's what i think it is.Note the A on his hat? could it stand for AMERICAN BOY SCOUTS? anyone knowledgeable in BS memorabilia please help me out on this one.

I really dig that man!! I was in scouting for a short time. I know BSA stands for Boy Scouts of America :yes:
And boy everything about that fob just SCREAMS Boy Scouts :yes: I did a quick Google search on antique boy scout watch fobs and couldn't find a match but that don't mean much :dontknow: rofl

I love seeing coin finds, but this stuff is really great. I was a scout leader for many years and this piece is very old. I will forward your picture to some friends and see what turns up. Many of these pieces were regionally produced, so it may be hard to pin down. Let you know what I find. thumbsup01
