Tiny bullet age

I find these little guys all the time. Usually they are off white and have hit something. This one is either gold color or painted gold. The bottom is concave like a minie ball. Anyone know an approximate age? Thank you! :groovy:

I'm curious too- I've found a few...

I don't know a lot about bullets- except the musketballs, buckshot and minies

and of course the shotgun cartridges >:/ At least here in Kentucky... they're all over the place near the old homesteads.

Thanks JT, they must have been shooting little varmints. I guess I can't put an approximate date on it.

Tanacat, don't they ring up nice? I always think I have a coin.

they have been making them for a good many years,it would be very hard to tell the age of then little buggers,I've found a lot of them at old farm sites.
