Australian copper and silver

Hunted a private property site today with a friend, and pulled a pair of Australian coins from 1943. The silver is sterling (925 fine), and was minted in San Francisco, of all places. (Had it been minted in Australia, it would be a semi-key date). Also pulled an abused merc, dated 1927. Odd to pull two Australian coins from different sections of the site, especially when the elderly owner of the property said she and her family were from Wales.

Yesterday had a nice long and quite lucky 6 hour hunt, and pulled 5 silver dimes and a 1935 buff. HH everyone.
