Yesterday i hit the park that i got the SLQ from a week or so ago. Only found $1.63 in clad and that was with .80 in one hole .51 in another and one hole with two dimes. Also got a dog tag type pendant with a harley eagle inscribed on it.

Today it was back to the iceskating park. (before those other 20 detectorists got all the good stuff rofl) They must be slipping because i found .73 cents today.
A 1953-S Rosie five wheat cents 41,46 plain and 53,54,55 all D's. Also dug a 1950 Canadian penny. But the first thing i found that i thought was good was a heavy ring that at first i thouhgt was a large chrome nut. I weighs in at 15.5 gms and hits on the E-trac as 01-43. The V3I shows it as a VDI of 91. But it isn't marked!
Both machines show it in the silver dollar range so it just might be silver. I don't have the silver testing kit yet. (guess i should get one)
Got a button that reads 16 Scottish Highlands and another numbered tag also a little small pair of scissors. (Non functioning)

Here's pics.....

Congrats on the silver. Yeah, I'd prob thrown it in my trash pocket thinking it was a nut- w/out cleaning & looking for threads. lol
