Tested different ring sizes--ALL of them silver .925 or Sterling--tested with Fisher F5 passing each ring at least 6 times under the coil for a consistant number. Items in the ground may read lower or higher on the screen, depending on soil conditions and how long item has been buried.
Rings reading above 72 were thicker width, than the rings with the lower numbers than 72.

ALL THE RINGS TESTED WERE SILVER !!!

VDI number and the ring size.

You did a lot of work for those test results. Thanks!!!!!!!!!! It shows me that rings have a big range. I will have to keep digging pull tabs if I expect to find some rings. Thanks for the post. :perfect10:

Thank you for the info which is probably similar to my T2. Unfortunately I've lost more wedding bands than I've found. :dontknow:
