First off let me say i'm very sorry Mr. Tony two cent.
But today i went back to oak park and just as the snow started to fall heavily i got another high pitched tone that showed deep.
My second seated dime! Another 1877 but this time Philadelphia mint. Not in as good condition as the Carson City one.
Also got .45 in clad.

Here's pic of seated dime.....

If you wanna drive over i'll take you to the Park of plenty sitting coins.
Michigan isn't too far away. This park has a history of being a major tourist attraction in the late 1800's. 60,000 to 70,000 visitors a year back in those days was a lot.

5 hours and 46 minutes, according to Google Maps. :thinkingabout:

Thanks for the offer, Razr. At this point I'm still holding out hope that I'll find a seated here in central Illinois, but if that dry spell continues I may drive on up someday!

Congrats on your newly found seated dime, by the way! :clapping:
