get a vibraprobe , they turn themselves off when you forget to . plus they are water proof.

HAD ONE LASTED 2 YEARS ,PAIN IN THE NECK ,INTERFERED WITH THE ELETRICAL SYSTEM IN MY CAR AND IT WOULDN'T SHUT OFF EITHER WITHOUT TAKIN THE BATT OUT.iT FINALLY DIED BY A LITTLE RED WIRE CAME PROTRUDING OUT OF THE TIP.BULLSEYE 11 LASTED 1 YEAR. As far as i can see they are a rip off unless the are replaced for free.

HHMMMMMM:huh:thinkingabout:? I have about 15yrs on my Merlin pinpointer. Still going strong. It ain't pretty tho. :thinkingabout: :cool:

I have three DX-1's. They all turn off immediately after flipping the switch. :grin:

Apparently you have a defective keyboard as well Bowser. Your caps lock key is stuck on. lol

it's an old keyboard can't find the caps button and none of the keys are in alphabetical order :crazy:

My Pro Pointer I've had for 3 years now and it won't vibrate any more and the speaker seems to be on its last legs. crying01

My PP has been acting up lately too. Same problem... won't click off.

Usually when this happens, I take the little rubber piece off and blow out the inside of the unit. Apply just a little upward pressure
to all four sides of the inside stem. Then depress the stem as usual. This will turn it off for me.

It's kind of an intermittent thing for me right now. I can go two or three hunts with no problems... then it shows up again. >:(

I figure if it lasts the rest of this year... I'll be happy and worry about it next year. :cheesysmile:
