View Full Version : Whats the value-1943 Mercury Dime

I found this one on June 8th, 2009. I was hoping to get some pretty accurate suggestions on how much this is worth, and the grade. There a ton of scratches on the front, and back. This was EXACTLY how it looked, while being retrieved.

Maybe a 1.00 at best...Merc dimes are a dime a dozen... lol

if its a no mint mark merc , they made almost 200 million of them very common and it would be under $1.80 . but i don't get tired of diggin'em up . nice find in my book

If you are looking for value, it's silver content value all the way lol What ever scrap silver is going for. But if you are looking for excitement of the find value, then it's priceless ;) I never get tired of seeing silver :yes:

Well, I still have yet to find one... I did find a 1964 Rosie in my kid's piggy bank lol

I don't know what it is about NC, but nine times out of ten when I find silver it is a merc dime or a rosie. Not complaining mind you, just an observation.... lol
