$500.00 to $550.00 ( without a Sunray coil ) add about $75.00 to $100.00 more with the Sunray and yes it is a great detector .

I would say Sheik is in the ballpark.

I need to look back to see what you are using now.

In the Minelab arena..... if I were you, I would hold out for a used SE Pro if you can. It just depends on your finances and priorities etc. The EXP II is a great detector.

I bought the detector and its brand new as far as condition. It has a rain and dust cover on the display and came with an extra say 4 inch excellerator coil. Not the first scratch on any of it. Very nice detector indeed but I think I will put it on ebay to try and get the best bang for my buck. I swung it a few times and it would be like learning a whole new language for me. I don't think I'm up for that at this time. :thinkingabout:

You wont have any trouble selling it . I know several very skilled hunters that got rid of their E-tracs and SE's and went back to the Explorer 2 . I'm kind of sorry I got rid of mine when I got the SE in a trade . I dug a lot less iron with the Explorer 2 but that's not the SE's fault as I tend to dig more questionable iffies as I get more desperate for silver . My deteriorating old body is going to force me to be more picky in the not to distant future .
