I would like to intoduce myself to everyone. Hi, my name is mike aka:skrapman. my some gave me that nickname 25 years ago.
I live in south central MA. I currently am using a DFX with 9.5 and 5.3 coil. Also have a beach hunter 300. My buddy and I hunt
mostly for relics and hit the beach during the winter months. been detecting for 4 years although I had a machine back in the
early 70's. Look forward to your posts and viewing your finds.
hello Mike , welcome to the forum :yes: . your fortunate to be in a very historic area of the country and i hope the relic hunting has been good , would love to see your better finds sometime. i also swing a dfx its a great machine , glad you could join us .

Mike, welcome from western MA. What beaches do you hit in the winter? Looking forward to your posts. After 4 years you must have a great relic collection.

Mike, the people I know with DFXs are awesome hunters. I'm looking forward to your posts from the relic state. Sounds better than bay state lol

Like you, I had my first detector in the 70's. It was so good that, after a few days of adjustment, I found my Oldsmobile parked in my driveway. :rolleyes: Equipment has come a long way since then...Huh?
