Sweet Pre-work Merc!

I went back to a wooden park that I hadn't been back to since using my Bounty Hunter last summer. I had about a half an hour to kill before work and the weather was SO nice for January, especially after the snow storm we just had. So, I pulled out the T2 I'm using from N.E.D.. After about 20 minutes I nailed a sweet 1920 Mercury dime about 4 inches down. happydance02 I know it's not the greatest find, but silver is pretty infrequent for me, so to me it's a big deal! lol

I wanted to stay longer and see if there was anything in the vicinity of the Merc, but I had to split. I will definitely be hitting this area again soon. Happy hunting everyone!! :groovy:

A merc is a great find! Congrats!!!!!! I'll take one of those everytime i go out.

A Mercury Dime IS an exciting find in my book, especially when it's an early one! thumbsup01

Finding a nice silver like that in only 20 minutes at only 4 deep tells you that there should be much more there!
