Hit the woods today with Captain Silver and scoured the perimeter for a while. Captain got a nice 1958 Washington to keep his silver streak alive. I took the silver skunk but managed to find a 1913 Wheatie, a 1930's Buffalo nickel, and a really old looking ring. I think it's just costume jewelry, but I'll clean it later. Also, the coins come out of the ground in pretty nice shape around here too! thumbsup01 Happy Hunting all!!

I just cleaned up the ring, but it stayed lookin pretty beat. I think it's a copper ring cause the surface looks the same as some of the wheaties after I've cleaned the crud off! lol As for the buff, it turned out to be a 1936. It's always nice to read the date on some of these oldies.
