I feel like I'm learning a new language, forgive me if I stumble. I'm recovering from strokes, doing much better now and looking forward to meeting new people. Purchased a used bounty hunter lone star and looking for a pin pointer. I'm finding lots of good info online but have not connected with anyone local to guide me.

Welcome from western MA. We have alot of great people on board here with a wealth of knowledge and more importantly willing to share it. You will find alot of us are using the Garrett Pro Pointer. Glad you're here and looking forward to your posts. Also happy to hear that you are recovering from the strokes.

Hiya Safe man, welcome from CT where we chose to not participate in winter this year. |:cheering:
Year-round metal detecting :happydance01: happydance02
I also have a pro pointer. It is a very nice unit. I've only ever used the Bounty Hunter $30 pin pointer. I wouldn't advise getting that one as it doesn't work.
I look forward to seeing your posts.
