Snow is coming our way! :crying02: What's a detectorist to do? Grab the detector and start swinging before the snow starts to fall. I did just that this afternoon, heading out to a local site for some relaxing coinshooting. I had a good time out, plus I also dug up a few keepers. :happydance01:

The Roosevelt dime just doesn't seem to fit in this group. :thinkingabout: But it is silver, so to the collection it goes. :happydance01: There are no mint marks on the Barber quarter or dime.

This one is a 1894 2 filler from Hungary.

The rest of the coins were three wheat cents and a beat up Indian Head cent.

Way to beat old mother nature. Nice hunting and really love the barbers. Last weekend I dug a rosie so maybe this weekend I'll get the elusive Barber....just going on a feeling.

Well well.... again he scores :perfect10: |:cheering: Very nice barbers, sir.

I think you should have re-buried that rosie for another day; it just doesn't look right with that mix lol :poke:

Glad you were able to get out before the snow flies. >:\ (pretend that rain is frozen.... we need a 'snowing' emoticon lol )

Swing fast slow and dig deep! thumbsup01 lol

And it looks like you did just that! |:cheering:
A silver quarter is hard enough to come buy, but for it to be Barber...well now you've got yourself a good one! <:
Sweet finds Angel!
Congrats!

Not just Barbers, but early ones as well. :happydance01:

Most of the Barbers I find seem to be from the 1900s. I am amazed at your ability to find old quarters, they are just so elusive for me.

The coin from Hungary is very interesting as well!

Another great hunt, Angel! :clapping:

 Yep... makes perfect sense to me. :)
Nice score on the Barber pair. :smitten: Gotta love the big ones.
The 1894 2 filler is a fun one to add to the collection.

Congrats on another great hunt Angel. Hang in there, soon enough snow will be out of the forecasts. thumbsup01
