View Full Version : I FOUND A CACHE!

of dog tags rofl 10 heart shaped ones all in the same hole dated 1929.3 others a few inches over 2 broken and one square one dated 1939.
But,the cool thing i did find was a WATERBURY CLOCK PAYCHECK.I dug one last year in this yard and thought how many people lost their paycheck tag and i must be lucky to have just one,especially when the curator at the clock museum has never even seen one.now I have a pair of them for my collection.also a neat EL -POI TAN cigar cutter and a good luck thing.when i tried to open the back it just crumbled

actually this old home was the town clerks residence for years.i have dug close to 40 dog tags.all must have been discarded back in the day.no pet cemetary I can assure you that :groovy:

Sweet that you found a mate for the paycheck tag. There is big difference in the numbers, do you think that the numbers went by seniority? 40 dog tags in one location, huge. I love finding old dog tags especially with a date.

Wow, that is some cool finds. I love finding old dog tags, tokens and the like. Congrats on some very nice finds.

I love cool stuff like that. You can make cool displays for that stuff. You can really only hoard your silver dimes.
