My last hunt, a Barber and Merc

[Fire Fighter 43]

I returned to the grove on Tuesday for a 5 hour hunt. I spent the first 3.5 hours hunting the woods with little succes so I switched to the X8 coil and hit a trashy area of the picnic grounds and manged to find 4 wheats, a 23 Merc and a 1911-D Barber dime. I also found $1.69 in clad. The Mountain Dew bottle was one thing I did find in the woods it has a date on the bottom of 1966.

Nice barber and merc!! And some wheaties too! I remember the old throw away bottles that were broken all over the side of the road. Great find. :clapping:
