Hello and welcome from Mississippi. Glad to have you onboard. I started with a Fisher F4. Good machines. You will find all the help you need here. Just ask. Anyone will be glad to help with any question you may have. Will be looking forward to your post and finds. What type hunting are you most interested in? Coins, relics, etc? Again welcome and HH.

Welcome from southern Nevada.

I have an F2 that I carry aboard my Jeep for impromptu hunts. They're tough as nails. I stuck my Lesche through the screen about three years ago and it still keeps on ticking.

Welcome DW! Where about on the Island? Myself and a few friends detect most of Suffolk County. Send me a PM if you would like to come along with us. We're out most weekends. We could give you some pointers on the new machine.
