Found this today. Any ideas on its age?

hey David its a watch fob and has a company name on one side but i just can't make out the full name . if you can read it google the business and it should give you a time period.

Above is a link to a site that states this company HC Wey Hardware Co. was in business in 1904. Hope this helps. Happy Hunting!!

I can't read everything on the front but the back says Westward the course of empire takes its way Are you with us All I can read on the front is &quot:grin:shocked04:n't forget it What does it say across the top?

H. C. Wey was born in Germany in 1843. His family came to America when he was 7. He died in Wichita, Kansas in 1913. He owned hardware and implement stores in Kansas and Oklahoma.
What you have is a watch fob put out as an advertising item by his company. I would guess that it dates to the latter half of the 19th century.
