What a beautiful day it turned out to be. It was on the chilly side this morning but it soon warmed up very nicely - perfect for detecting. I did take advantage and headed back to the small park to see if I could coax a few more silver coins from the ground. It took a while, but I ended the day with five more silver coins to add to my collection.

This was my first silver of the day, a 1915-D Barber quarter.

It left an imprint in the soil.

The total silver for the day.

There are about 17 wheat cents in the pile.

It is. How dare the soil keep some of the silver! That sure looks like a good mold for more Barbers.

I would be happy with just two silver coins each trip. But I'll take more when it comes. Yeah, what happened to the standing liberty quarters? There has to be one somewhere in that park. I'll get it some other day.

It's incredible to see the Silver Angel in action. The silver coins virtually jump into his pouch. He is in tune with his machine, an expert in its use. Set your goal for 10 more silvers from that park, Angel. They are there. Have a silver day. Can't wait to see your post tonight.

Thanks, John! :embarrassed: :) It was fun detecting together. We will have to do it again soon. I may head to the small park for a few hours later, though I may take a drive to another one I spotted recently to check it out. I'll let you know what pops up. :thumbsup01:

I don't think that was silver oxidation...more like silver defication... That barber new he was coming... Kinda like a bear sneaking up on a 6 year old with a weak bladder... it just let loose... What a phenominal week you had!
