I found a bullet today that I'm not sure about. The site it was found at dates back to 1859. Any Ideas?

yes , it almost looks like it was purposely made to resemble a pine-cone , is there any history of soldier encampments in the area your detecting??

Yes we are hunting areas around camp Radziminski. I believe it is a ringtail sharps that was fired out of the wrong gun.
