I got an AT Pro from Big Boys Hobbies this spring. I'm a member of another forum, but I was referred here by DaleWestaby. It looks like a good one.

I started out finding some clad, digging through frozen ground, then some wheats, that kept my interest. Then I found an 1898 Indian, and I was hooked. After that, I found my first Barber dime, and now it's become a passion. There are other things I have to do, but they can wait.

The AT Pro has a learning curve, and I'm still working on it...I had a 4 silver day last week, but I had a few humbling hunts, too. I'll post some pics, if anyone's interested.

Looking forward to this forum!

Some of us call it a passion, some of us call it an obession. Sounds like your learning curve has been handled well. We always love to see what others have found, post away...

Welcome from Illinois!

I have heard nothing but good things about Big Boys Hobbies, they always seem to go above and beyond to treat the customer right.

It sounds like you are off to a good start! Pretty much every machine has a learning curve, but the day will come when most of that learning curve is behind you and the finds will come more readily.

And like everyone else said, we would love to see your finds!

Good luck and happy hunting! thumbsup01
