Got out to a site Steve and I hit a few times. I only had and hour or so before work, so I had to stay local. This is a home site in the woods where the only remains of the house are the steps that led to the front door. I decided to work the path that leads up to the site and got a nice deep 80-83 on the M6 . Turned out to be a 1821 Matron Head LC. :beerbuddy: HH All!

A Matron Head is a great find, Mike! Especially to us here in the Midwest, they scarcely turn up here. I would love to find one!

Sounds like a really interesting site to hunt. Congrats! :clapping:

Sweet find Mike!!! When you called me at work today I had the itch to get out and dig. Maybe we should both quit our jobs and detect all day! Imagine that.. There has to be lots more on that path. :clapping:
