Great find. It looks like its in real good shape. In the red book it looks like a 1788 mailed bust copper facing left. But Del may be able to ID it better. Congrats.

Very nice Conn copper jess, it's already in really good condition to clearly see all the details. I would love to see the coin after it's
been cleaned. If you could document the process that would be very helpful to many hunters. thanks for showing :clapping:

:perfect10: Very nice coin. Not alot of dots and cinquefoils (flowers) to match up with like my coin which is loaded with them. It's amazing how the patina holds so much detail . Did you clean it up a little to get more detail. I can't see the ET above her head, but Dan is right on. That's why I turn to him for Colonials . I call him the Colonial Coin Expert God, LOL. He could charge and make a ton of cash but he has too big of a heart and not one ounce of greed in his body to do that. He has the same passion I have.
I love to just help people out. I've been helping people from another site on Currency Questions. Something I've been studying for a year now, especially Error notes , Web Notes and Star Notes.
If ya have a pic of the coin cleaned up, It would be great to see an after pic.
