Steve and I hit our favorite farm field early Saturday an found a few areas freshly turned :happydance01:. Found 2 LC's, a King George III which I think is an 1806 and a Draped Bust thats pretty much worn smooth. Also found an Buffalo Nickel, no date. Lots of buttons in this field too! :beerbuddy: HH all.

I'm telling you Mike, I'm going to get a camper and spend weekends out there!!! Cool old coins. This winter will be AWESOME! :perfect10:
Dan, its been a working farm for almost 300 years. We just recently got permission to 3 of these places. Thousands of acres that have been in use for a very long time. Drive south young man! ;)
Better yet, hop on the ferry. I'm 10 minutes away from when you reach land. :waving:

I've been hunting fields for arrowheads for 20 yrs and love to be in that open space- I don't think I'll find anything that old w/MD here in Kentucky though :shocked04:

You definatley have the site. Congrats on a KG III and a LC. I am sure that you will be plucking many more out of there. A 300 yr old working farm, oh I could only dream.
