Hello MD'ers...

It was still 64 here @ 6pm and I could get in 60 to 90 minutes of swinging... So headed back to the same place that yielded the dime trifecta last night...

The targets were not so plentyfull...

I did nab 3 old wheaties.... 1910, 1918, and 1920...

The Key came out early in the hunt only 3-4 down...

I was about to give up on getting silver as it was getting dark... and this target signal was broken/masked and I did not get a good pinpoint... It was in the plug and I skimmed it in the way down with the Lesche :-(

1917 Mercury Dime... (Silver #26)

Love the key. That's one I've never run across, with the V in the oval. Possibly a clock key. Sweet! Nice 1917 Mercury and the silver streak continues. The Mystic Aquarium flattened penny is cool too. What a day weatherwise! thumbsup01

That is a nice merc. We all have nicked a coin at one time or another, so I know the feeling. That is a good looking key too.

That's a pretty cool key! Nice old Merc. It always gets exciting when you hit close to that 1916 D. Thanks for sharring the hunt with us.

Congrats on the silver, and I love that key! It does look like a clock key
