Welcome, Greg! Glad you have joined us here on American Detectorist! It sounds like you have quite a bit of experience under your belt. Have you done most of your hunting in Illinois?

(I design steel roof trusses for a living and just last week I designed a roof system for a concessions building in Circle Park in Bloomingdale, very near you.)

You are way ahead of me in silver coins, I think I have found about 380 total. I hunted sporadically in the 1980s, then took a long break from the hobby. I just got back into it a little over a year ago.
