I haven't had any time to post the finds I've made over the past week or so. But, I made some pretty neat finds from all the hunts from various locations. I've gone on quick hunts each time out. Only an hour or so, except on Monday where I usually hunt for a few hours. I swear, I do better on the quickie hunts for some reason. :confused:
I got real excited when I saw the gold edge in the plug! :happy: I thought it was a gold class ring until later when I cleaned it off. 8/ It turns out to only be a Girl Scout ring only 10K gold filled. It's still pretty though. |:cheering:
The Army buttons (4) were all in one spot (A 5th nearby). I can't imagine how someone lost all their buttons? Right nearby was the cool early 1900's watch fob from Kentucky Green River whiskey, an old razor and one of those cool presidential tokens. This one is Grover Cleveland.
I also found several Wheat pennies, a 1915 Buffalo, and a 1918-D Merc! I found a bit of everything! Cool! happydance02 Hope everyone else is getting out finding great stuff too. Thanks for looking and happy hunting! :groovy:
