Hi All.
Fairly new here,just wanted to post a couple pics in regards to a find in my yard over this past weekend.I finally had a 3 day weekend and while working my yard with my CTX,I dug a Large cent from 1807.come to find out its quite rare.Take a look and tell me what yas think? That is an incredible coin! It looks to be the &quot:beerbuddy:lunt 1 variety and it's in amazing shape for a dug coin!

welcome to the forum Tom what part of the country do you live in where the coppers come out like that ?? great 1807 over 6 variety :smitten: :smitten:

aaaahhh , that explains it the upper NY state area has some great soil (more lime and less acidity ) and the coppers do come out looking amazing . i've seen coppers from that area that almost look not dug. i'm envious of the location your in , i wish you more nice finds like that .

Beautiful looking draped. The only thing looking that good in my yard would be a Sam Adams Light screw cap. :wow:

Yeah I'm going to have it graded,quite a few people have told me to do that after they have seen the coin.

Minelab posted the story on their website!I will be getting the coin graded for sure,I will keep yas posted....
