Today I had another opportunity for an afternoon hunt, so I grabbed it.

I had not expected anything like
yesterday's hunt, but as it turns out it ended up being another exciting one.

I managed to dig up several more silver coins, seven in total. The Barber and mercury dimes alone would have made my day, but the added bonus of a Capped Bust dime and a Seated quarter made the hunt even sweeter.

The 1831 Capped Bust dime is worn, but a sweet find anyway. There were 771,350 minted.

When I first caught a glimpse of the eagle my heart skipped a beat.

Among the finds is another large cent, a corroded Indian Head cent, and several wheat cents.

Have a terrific weekend everyone!
