Wow!. That CT is a beauty. That watch winder is special! What is the motif on the side of it in the first pic ?
cross canons...notice the axe to the left of the canons.
Wow nice post! That copper is sweet!!!!!
OMG!!! I live in CT, and have scores of CTs..AND NONE ARE THAT NICE!!!! You could find out the die combinations etc! Maybe it's worth some money!? I'll never forget my first copper was a CT, Dan helped me figure out what it was.
That button is really nice too...on top of the ridiculous winder!
What a great hunt ! That Connecticut is a sharp coin , although its a common variety its condition would still fetch hundreds of dollars .I'm pretty confident its a (Miller 6.4-I ) . The 1785 coins are usually a bit thicker than most of the other types , great coin . Love that watch winder too !!
Dan
Thanks guys for the info!
nicest copper I’ve seen dug, that watch fob sure is a show piece, you can only imagine how proud the owner was back in the day to have that, beautiful pieces.
Fantastic Connecticut Calabash! I have several but none that look like that! Sandy low country soil brother - very kind to relics.
John
Wow Calabash! TWO awesome finds and I love both of them. :perfect10:
WOW WOW WOW! I have never seen a winder like that! Congrats on the great copper too. I always enjoy your posts and videos. HH, Dave.
