Short hunt - Very small three ringer - help identify?
Short after work hunt in New Jersey at the old house & farm field that’s given up so many great coins and buttons. I found out today it was once owned by Thomas Jefferson.
Can anyone help me identify that bullet? It’s so small but it’s a three ringer. I used an Indian penny I had to show scale.
Also, anyone have a clue what those two rings are that are connected together? *Update - this is a "Snaffle Bit" - The English Loose Ring Snaffle Bit is probably the most common English riding bit. It's often the bit first introduced to horses.
