hey Jim theres a few that will do that for one the dfx will do that transition just fine as will most of you dual frequency detectors like the v3i , most of the upper minelabs and of sourse and water machine .
My Surfmaster Pro does just fine...never misses anything.
Yah, I use the M6 in that situation, using the beach mode. The only thing I have to do is turn down the SENS a little when it hits the salt water to avoid the overload screech.
the V will do it if you turn on the autotrac on and leave the gain about 10.. you have to get a good initial ground balance though.. thumbsup01
My Beach Hunter I.D. works great for finding the coins and jewelry on the beach or in the water. It's a dual frequency with the same frequencies as the DFX.
what i was looking for as answer was a mid priced non whites detector that might work well. Since i don't know anything about other brand detectors.thanks for the replys Jim
No problem for my DFX JIM ,,, I would think any multi frequency detector can do the same..
If you'll use only for Land, the Sovereign GT. If you also wanna do some hunting in the water, Excalibur 2. Great and deep machines. Think you will see some good videos about if you google them or if you're using the search-function on YouTube.
Good Luck
Vito
