Being as I have never found one, but have seen a lot found by others I would say it was a stashed coin. The ones I have seen pics of were not in that good of shape. JMO
I vote dug lol What do I get if I lose?
I would say dug...only because that is the only way I get mine.
Ok I need some more answers B4 I give the answer, lets go I'm sure the others are waiting
Its just about flawless how can you say it's dug? Well anyway I''ll post the answer later this week.

WHAT! You mean the prize ain't the coin.J/K rofl
OK. The coin was dug. It was my first large Cent. The soil was very light colored, almost a tan clay look. The funny thing is The only thing I did was soak it for a day in soapy water. My other friend found a beautiful 1851/81 closer to the foundation. It use to be a one room school house. Maybe the coin remained protected under the school because it's in AU condition.
Nice looking braided hair cent.. thumbsup01 AU would put it in the $100+ range :smitten: :smitten:

I've seen some mighty nice coppers come out of the dirt and I'm going to say dug.
I have 1 U.S large that looks like that.. Most here in mass are about toast in comparison.. The Canadian L.C's look great here, but now the U.S ones..great coin dude !! :happydance01: :happydance01:
There has been at least one thing on pawn stars that was just for the show and probably more than that would be my guess. The one thing a friend of mine was telling be about was an old bell from a ship wreck the lady claimed she had it as a door stop, my friends boss claims a guy he knows has it in his shop in the caribbean and he was the guy that came in to authenticate it. I've often wondered how all that stuff from the east coast and everywhere else always ends up there, you would figure if you knew you was going to vegas and needed a little extra money wouldn't you sell it before you went instead of taking maybe half of what it really worth, some of the stuff you could sell in no time flat and get full value for it.
