It is a very cool item, whatever it is! Neat piece of silver!
The only possible answer I could find is that it stands for Legal Studies Student Association. :dontknow:
Nice find. Unique.
It is def newer than 1868 as that is when items were first marked sterling to signify 0.925 silver instead of 0.900 coin silver. It looks like it was a pin/badge to me. When you search LS SA with the flag, it comes up with South Africa, but that's a different flag altogether. :thinkingabout:
That isn't a knights templers cross at top? Been watching too much Oak Island lately.
I believe it is a Lutheran Social Services pin. The 4th letter represents the state. i.e. Lutheran Social Services of Illinois is LSSI. Your pin could be any state that starts with A.
Any idea how old it could be?
Congrats on the religious pin nalc :cheering:
I found another on ebay. Lutheran Sunday School Association. No word on age.
Here's the one on eBay:

Thanks Tony, I forgot the link! :thumbsup01:
Someone must not have liked going to Sunday School--that thing is all beat up!
Interesting looking find. :congrats:
That is a unique find. Found plenty of religious medals but that is a bit different. Nice find WD
