Got out for about an hour and a half today and yes I went to my favorite field. First repeatable signal was the flat button. Pretty toasty and I am pretty sure it at one time had a back mark as I can see some lettering.
The KG II is a 1740 and I believe that this is copper is #30 out of this farm. Pictures show pre-cleaned and then cleaned with some REN WAX on it.

Congrats on the copper Al , its amazing at how many coins you've found out in that field (what was I doing wrong not to get one when I was there :thinkingabout::thinkingabout::confused:):lol:

Probably nothing...in fact I've brought RobW, Lee and a co-worker there several times and they also have not gotten a copper. In fact I believe that I am the only one to get them. It seems very strange...almost mystical that this situation exists.Quote:

We have an amazing forum...In the dead of winter people are digging 1740s coins, members are in Europe digging Roman gold, some plan on going in a few weeks, others are traveling across the country to hunt in New England, etc etc Huge congrats, Al! Keep at that magical site!
