Re: Whites Bullseye II test
Well Robbie, thats better than the other 2 were.. Stll not the greatest.. I have a older 6year old 120 that will do 2x's what your getting, but also have a newer 140 that is about what you were getting. I'll stick with the DX-1
Thanks for taking the time to do the tests Robbie
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
Nice video. I gave up on that pinpointer a while back. I need more than 1/2- 3/4 inches on a pinpointer. But for someone who has the time to dig, it may work for them. I dig like a madman (neatly though), so I need to get more than that depth in order to keep things moving along  I'm also sticking with the X-1 probe, until someone comes along with something better.
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
That shows it Robbie ...I still use mine now and then but 99% of the time it's the DX-1
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
I use mine in the winter and that's about it.
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
I got one as part of a promotion package...was not overly impressed. I picked up a DX-1 and now my Bullseye is a toy for my kids who love finding metal around the house.

Welcome to this forum, and glad you could join over here.
Thanks for watching my video.
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
Thanks for the welcome and thanks to you Robbie for putting those videos together....good stuff!
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
Would I be out of line for calling that pointer a hunk of crap. Cost $120.00 if you order one. Hope the switch don't break.

Now, Now, if that is all someone has it will be better than using nothing.... and during the half off sale at Christmas it put the value a little closer to the value....
lol lol lol
I'll stick with my DX-1...tough to beat....

Which other two Glen? martin
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
I still using my old BH I got a few years ago it's about half the price but still to high I think but it is better than nothing.
I think the whites is a little pricey for what it does my next pp will be the garretts pro pointer from all the reviews I've seen it's the best handheld pp by far.
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
nice video, i have 2 bullseye II's and would trade both for 1 garrett pro pointer.
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
I'll happily take any broken BE/BE2 units that are headed for the trash. :)
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
Hey Robbie.....Thanks for the air test video. I'm also sticking with DX-1 until something better comes along
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
Hi Robby,
I use the 120 but I put mine on vibrate
when I encounter noise.
Do you know what depth the dx-1 gets
compared to the Bullseye?
I could tell what depth you were getting on
your test by where you stopped.....I did enjoy the
music.
Thank You for posting your video.
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
I spelled your name wrong :bangshead02: I apologize.
It is spelled Robbie....not Robby.
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
sold mine when i got the dx-1
Re: Whites Bullseye II test
As explained by White's, the Bullseye II pinpointer is just that - a pinpointer. Depth is maybe an inch. It only responds when you are really close to the target. I like a pinpointer that will give at least 4 inches. Can't beat the Sunray DX-1 as it is an extension of the metal detector itself complete with VDI readings.
