New Member in Alabama
Hello, all,
I'm excited about finally being able to learn more about the items I've found in Central Alabama, over the past few years.
Though this is my first public post, thank you to OxShoeDrew, who quickly identified a recent find as a parasol part. The majority of my finds have been bullets from various periods, so far. But, after identifying the parasol part, I returned to the same site for a quick 10-minute hunt, and found a very old horseshoe. Heading back there in a few minutes!
attached are most of the items I've found so far (except for the lead ball I dropped in the pond while showing to a friend).
as I said, most are bullets, but I would love any additional knowledge anyone cares to share.
Cheers!

Welcome from Washington state. I loved what I saw of Alabama when I was briefly stationed at Ft. McClellan. I hope to return someday and take more time to check it out.
