Great find !!!
Great coin Noah !:wow:
I like finding old, foreign coins. Specially if they are old foreign silver!
Congrats
Super nice recovery and congrats on it being your oldest silver.
Congrats, Noah! That is a really old silver coin and it is in great condition! We don't find them that old very often here in Illinois. I would love to see a photo of it with some other coins so we can see how big it is.
Good job saving that awesome coin from 1826! :clapping:
:perfect10:
That is pretty cool! I think they call those "bull heads" over in England?
I agree Tim, can you put it next to one of Don's silver dollars so we can see how big it is! LOL :coffeelaugh: Seriously though that is one AMAZING find! There were so many foreign coins circulating in the USA back then you just never know what might pop out of the ground. Best wishes and HH, Dave.
Finding an old silver is great but finding one in that condition is amazing. great coin indeed..WD
thank you everyone! I never thought I would find one of these in Illinois. Canceled my flight to the UK LOL!
I've never even seen a pic of one never mind find one. Wonderful find, Noah!
Congrats Noah on the old six pence! Found a Vicky British six pence last year (1882). For those wondering, those six pences are about the size of a dime.
John
Congrats! Great coin and well deserving of coin of the month! :beerbuddy:
