Saturday here in NY was absolutely beautiful, nearly 60 degrees.. So grabbed the metal detector and went hunting in same old wooded field that I found all those shoe buckles and buttons. Managed to pluck out 1 more Large cent , 1803 Draped Bust! Went back out on Sunday but it ended quickly as hunters were out and about squirrel hunting.
So far the winter has been hospitable to us diggers. Well done on the late season oldie copper! Happy New Year!
