American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
We have been discussing having t-shirts printed with the American Detectorist logo on them. It's just an idea at this time, but here is an example of what the t-shirts may look like with the logo. Thanks to Dale (Okiedigger) for his adding the logo to the sample t-shirts!
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea

Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
Our MD club has tee shirts and sweat shirts. One suggestion...white is not a good color choice. They really show the dirt.
Our club switched to a light gray that really works out well.
Don't laugh at the picture...I took it with my Mac.

You are right, white would be a dirt magnet. Great suggestion. Thanks!
The photo you took with the Mac is sharp actually. Nice club logo. :)
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
This time of year the sweat shirt will probably work better.
Nice shirt Lowjiber!
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
How about pink? thumbsup01. Kidding :)
That is a nice sweatshirt John, and a good point on the color. I like the idea of a pullover too, for detecting this time of year, and pretty much all winter in KY.
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
Dale were you going to add the forum address to the back to the shirt?
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
Those were just examples. I can if they want to see it.
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
I likey! I'll take a couple of 2 XL sweatshirts and 2 XL T shirts. Tell me where to send the money.....I like both front and back of the clothes shown.
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
I like the logo. I do have to concur with John, white is a nonstarter.
Remember, there are two kinds of dirt. The light kind that sticks to dark material, and the dark kind that adheres to light colored material. If I may suggest, medium grays, browns and reds. Though, on second thought, white may be good under a sport jacket.......Gil
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
I like the white but navy blue would look great. How's neon red , yellow or orange.

We put the detectorist's Code Of Conduct on the back of ours, and our logo on the T-shirt pocket area on the front.

That's a good idea. They must be nifty looking.
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
I don't think I have a pic, Angel, but when I sport it, it's something that gives inspiration (that, and the 8-reale on my neck).

Must be Nifty Looking..check... Inspirational... check... does not attract dirt... check! PERFECT... Just put this on my chest with a beige background and I'm set!!!
Re: American Detectorist T-Shirts Idea
I like the design a lot. Personally, I am partial to natural colors for my shirts. Colors like slate blue, dirt red (Oklahoma red-dirt), chocolate, etc. Everything has a washed, soft, and worn look.
How about a hat? Man I miss my old LT hat from Lost Treasure mag. it was slate-blue with grey embroidery. I worn that sucker ALLLL the time and it looked awesome by the time it disapeared. Now I can't find that color for sale anymore from them.
Anyway, I digress....... I like the shirt idea.
