Congrats Chris on the finds. I went to the lake the other day and thought it wouldn't be too bad with the wind out of the SW and apparently the wind changed by the time I got down there. The mosquitos carried me back up the hill though, which was nice.
I love the tokens. To me that is why I metal detect. Finding coins comes as a close second.
B'll slop is a waste organic liquid that was used for feeding cattle. It was valuable to farmers and the distillers just wanted to get sell it cheap. Each distillery back in the late 1800s would have a token like this. Definitely a good find for there are not many of these out there.
