Got out this morning before the heat and hunted the school two blocks from my house . Both my kids went here and I have hunted it many times over the years . My son found his first Merc dime years ago in the back field and it has given up many wheats . The school was build in the late 60's but the ground it's on had many old farms dating back to the mid 1800's . The best find of a one hour hunt came on the 4th target http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/...s/thumbsup.gif. I had a +14 at 4 inches . When I put the coin out I could see it was a worn nickel. Then I saw them , stars all around the edge and a very faint outline of Lady Liberty! It is my first V nickel in over 15 yearshttp://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/...s/headbang.gif . She is very worn but after my son and I taking a very close look under a magnifier we both saw 1883! I know a lot of you find these all the time but around my area it just doesn't happen .
