Awesome hunt Danny! It was so much fun those last couple of hours. It was also nerve wracking for me because you just kept finding military buttons! I'm thinking, "OMG, what if I don't find one?" :envious: Seriously, five early military buttons is probably the most awesome hunt I have ever seen. Congrats man!

Super hunt. Deus is a button killer.

Very cool finds! I just drool every time I see the early 19th Century or earlier buttons. There are spots in Wisconsin to find these, mostly fur trade sites, but I have never been able to get on one of those spots.

Those buttons are amazing Del! I have not seen the LA buttons before. I really like them. The key is on a whole different level. It looks exactly like the medieval keys found over here. The beard (as the Germans call it) looks 1500s to me. I wonder if it went to a lock box (or similar box) that had been in the family a couple hundred years before it came to America? Congrats on some excellent pieces of American history!

Awesome buttons but that skeleton is really really cool! Well done.

That's a big hunt. It is amazing what a new piece of equipment will do on a site.

Beautiful buttons Dan! Man I want to find those.
:congrats:

Wow!! I went searching in the cellar hole group to find you Del.
Dang, you just keep getting on the really old stuff. Congrats to you!! I know it takes a lot of research and boot time.
Love the buttons you found here. Pictures = :groovy:
