As a matter of fact, I stopped in mid-state New York this spring and did some detecting. I found a couple of really nice coins!
Hi Rich, welcome from western MA. How long have you been detecting and what is your machine of choice? Looking forward to seeing your finds.

Those are some really awesome coins!
I have had a cheap detector for many years, but I recently purchased a Garrett AT Pro. I have had some very good luck with it this summer. I will try to post some pictures later on.
Thanks Guys!
Rich
I'm glad you are enjoying your AT pro and am glad you joined us! Do you have any finds that you're super proud of??
Welcome to the forum Rich. I'm in the Saratoga area.
chief5709, that is Awesome! Oxshoedrew, yes I have a few I am really proud of. I found an 1853 seated dime, 2 large cents (1830,1838) and a ton of small things. I have even found a few civil war items. Lots of horse related items, 23 complete horseshoes so far. I have made a few displays of my finds, when I can get my hands on my wife's camera I will post some photos.
Thanks guys!
