Well, I tried cleaning the copper up but still couldn't get an ID. I don't know which side is the obverse or reverse so I can't make a guess based on that. All I know is that its old. Sorry guys...

what would be the best way to clean these coppers too without the patina falling off?
Headed to the cellar this Saturday. Decided to hunt on the other side of the trail that the cellar was on. Got a midtone signal and pulled out a broken piece to the inside of a colonial buckle....
