I agree Del. I've been a watcher and fan for many, many years. I watched his video yesterday and I understand completely why he is leaving the platform. Best wishes CD.

You're right, Tony. I can see the word NICKEL in the first pic and PECUNIA in the second pic!
Geez, Tony! You did awesome! So many great finds. What is the item in the first pic, all the way to the left? It almost looks like a piece of scrap silver.
Holy crap, John! You had a heck of a start for the year! Awesome coins and relics for sure. I also like the butter knife with all its intricate designs. Great post! Best wishes and happy...
Hey Tony, good to see some silver in your hand! I think those UP Tokens were handed out at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair (it was so popular it ran into 1934). Also, I think that Canadian cent was...
Oh wow, congrats, Jared!! Love seeing that older silver. Is that your oldest American silver coin? Best wishes and happy digging, Dave.
Drew, are you going to Colchester of a different group?
Wow, I'm not sure what my bucket list is anymore! I have 2 trips to Europe planned for some detecting holidays this year. Hopefully, I will have great times with friends and discover some old relic...
Looks delicious! Also, lovely home and decorations. Merry Christmas to you and yours and best wishes for 2024.
Howdy Diggers,
I had several wonderful detecting adventures this year! I spent 19 days detecting in Europe with an amazing group of friends, as well as numerous hunts here in America. This picture...
Hello Diggers,
I just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. I hope each one of you is able to get out and find some amazing bucket list items in 2024!
Happy...
Congrats on the NJ copper! Learning a new machine is always exciting. It's literally like learning a new language.
That is so interesting Tony! I had never heard of this before. It turns out the ring wasn't the only item you could get. There was also a necklace, tribe bracelet, fob, Thunderbird brooch, horse...
Wow! I think that is the biggest Coinstar find I have seen. I've found a few silver dimes and a 1943 steel penny before but never multiple silvers! Congrats.
Wow, Owen, you had a good day for sure! A lot of great relics in your hand. I recently also found a Staff Officer's button, but mine is 1870s based on the backmark. Will you be returning to that...
I hope everyone had an awesome thanksgiving and was able to get out and do some detecting too!
Just beautiful! Cleaned up nicely too. Congrats!
Hi Friends,
This weekend I made the 6-hour journey to meet with Tim (Ill_Digger) and Jeff (Fire Fighter 43) in Wisconsin for some amazing detecting at an 1842 Church and its many acres of grounds. ...
OR... I would trade you 50 tombac buttons for it!!! Don't say no, just think about it! :coffeelaugh:
Awesome finds! Seems like everyone is finding cap bust dimes except for me! Waaahhhh! The IHC is a real looker too. Interesting color. The buttons are day-makers in their own right. Congrats and...
Interesting. Are these coins buried in your test plot? I've seen some videos on YouTube about the manticore and apparently the settings are tricky (?).
Thanks very much!
WOW! That coin is absolutely amazing! I am so glad you were able to rescue it from the ground and share it with us. I hope to find a cap bust silver some day and this gives me motivation to keep...
Looks like a lead bag seal to me. The top picture looks like "US" in the center. The bottom picture is almost legible. Maybe a clearer picture we can read the word(s)?
Thanks very much! I appreciate the kind words.
